We are looking for Litigation Attorney (Commercial Real Estate) candidates for a project delivered through micro1.
What you'll do
- Draft authentic litigation work product, including motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery, in response to evolving commercial real estate disputes.
- Produce turn-by-turn deliverables under senior direction, mirroring the process of submitting drafts for partner review in real practice.
- Develop and document rubric items alongside your drafts, explicitly outlining criteria for strong responses to opposing counsel's submissions.
- Incorporate senior feedback efficiently each round, demonstrating adaptability with minimal need for redirection.
- Ensure continuity in case theory and litigation posture across multiple engagement turns.
- Identify and flag procedural uncertainties, missing information, or factual ambiguities needing resolution by the senior or team lead.
Nice to have
- Active or lapsed license as a US attorney, admitted in at least one US jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3 years' post-JD litigation experience, emphasizing real drafting, discovery, and motion practice (not solely transactional work).
- Proven background in handling commercial real estate litigation related to leases, transactions, development, landlord–tenant issues, zoning, or financing/security interests.
- Demonstrated ability to draft complex litigation documents under direction, specifically within commercial real estate disputes.
- Exemplary written communication skills in English, with strong mastery of legal register and analysis.
- Firm (BigLaw, boutique, or mid-market) experience and exposure to multiple matter types are advantageous.
- Previous participation in AI-based legal projects or federal court commercial litigation is a plus.
