We are looking for Hardware Expert candidates for a project delivered through micro1.
What you'll do
- Interpret dimensions and geometric relationships from technical drawings.
- Translate 2D schematics into accurate 3D mechanical models.
- Decompose complex components into appropriate geometric features.
- Model curved profiles, sweeps, lofts, fillets, chamfers, and Boolean operations.
- Use Python to generate or automate CAD geometry.
- Export valid, watertight solid models in formats such as STEP.
- Validate dimensions, topology, volume, surface area, and inertia properties.
- Diagnose subtle differences between expected and generated geometry.
- Produce reproducible solutions that work in clean technical environments.
- Reproduce dimensioned engineering schematics as precise 3D solid models.
- Construct a mechanical component with complex curved geometry, implement the model through Python, export it as a STEP file, and validate it against strict geometric and physical requirements.
What you need
- Strong Python programming ability.
- Hands-on experience with 3D CAD or computational geometry.
- Ability to interpret dimensioned engineering drawings and schematics.
- Strong 3D spatial reasoning and attention to geometric precision.
- Experience validating or troubleshooting CAD models.
