Hardware Expert

We are looking for Hardware Expert candidates for a project delivered through micro1.

What you'll do

  • Interpret dimensions and geometric relationships from technical drawings.
  • Translate 2D schematics into accurate 3D mechanical models.
  • Decompose complex components into appropriate geometric features.
  • Model curved profiles, sweeps, lofts, fillets, chamfers, and Boolean operations.
  • Use Python to generate or automate CAD geometry.
  • Export valid, watertight solid models in formats such as STEP.
  • Validate dimensions, topology, volume, surface area, and inertia properties.
  • Diagnose subtle differences between expected and generated geometry.
  • Produce reproducible solutions that work in clean technical environments.
  • Reproduce dimensioned engineering schematics as precise 3D solid models.
  • Construct a mechanical component with complex curved geometry, implement the model through Python, export it as a STEP file, and validate it against strict geometric and physical requirements.

What you need

  • Strong Python programming ability.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D CAD or computational geometry.
  • Ability to interpret dimensioned engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Strong 3D spatial reasoning and attention to geometric precision.
  • Experience validating or troubleshooting CAD models.
