We are looking for Street Performing Musician candidates for a project delivered through micro1.
What you'll do
- Perform a 1-2 hour live set during one of three daily time slots: LUNCH (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM), AFTERNOON (2:00 PM – 4:00 PM), or HAPPY HOUR (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM).
- Perform at one of several high-foot-traffic locations across San Francisco, including FiDi, the Marina, Dolores Park, Alamo Square, Pier 39, and Golden Gate Park.
- Wear micro1 event apparel and display basic signage explaining microsessions during the performance.
- Be filmed and recorded by a production crew for approximately 20-60 minutes during your set.
What you need
- Be a solo musician or part of a small group of 1-3 performers.
- Be available for a 1-2 hour set within the specified time slots between August 6-7.
- Have an existing permit or private-property arrangement to perform at your chosen location.
- Be responsible for your own instruments and equipment.
- Provide a video, Instagram, or portfolio link showcasing a past performance.
- Be comfortable with being filmed and recorded.
Nice to have
- Playing on both August 6 and August 7 is welcome.
