We are looking for Medical Expert (M.D./D.O.) candidates for a project delivered through Mercor.
What you'll do
- Writing a clinical vignette from your own practice, with the presentation, labs, and imaging, plus the attending-level reference answer a model gets graded against
- Grading model output on diagnostic reasoning: whether the differential is ordered sensibly, whether it anchors, whether the proposed workup is guideline-concordant
- Flagging where a recommendation is defensible in a textbook but wrong for the patient in front of you, given comorbidities, contraindications, or what the patient can access
What you need
- An M.D. or D.O. with board certification and a current, active, unrestricted license
- Active clinical practice, or recent enough that you can still explain the reasoning behind a call
- Clear written communication, since most of the work involves explaining your reasoning
- Comfort with ambiguous tasks, and willingness to flag unclear instructions
